BLACKPINK among final music acts for ‘Carpool Karaoke’ with James Corden
BLACKPINK is set to make one of the final appearances on “The Late Late Show With James Corden’s” popular “Carpool Karaoke” segment.
CBS announced on April 7 that the segment will air during one of the final 12 episodes of the show, which will end on April 27.
BLACKPINK previously appeared on the show in 2019, with Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé performing their single “Kill This Love.” The quartet returned in 2021 to perform their song “Pretty Savage” from their studio album, “The Album.”
The final episodes of “The Late Late Show” will see guests such as Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, Tom Cruise, Josh Gad, Jennifer Garner, Seth Meyers and Billy Porter, to name a few. Allison Janney will also celebrate her 15th appearance on the show.
BLACKPINK’s filming of “Carpool Karaoke” will coincide with their upcoming historic headlining of Coachella later this month, for which the K-pop act have reportedly booked out the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for their rehearsals.
Photos circulating on social media purportedly reveal their potential Coachella setlist.
Following Coachella, BLACKPINK will resume their “Born Pink” world tour.
