A Panda Express worker took to TikTok to express his dismay at the chain’s early-morning customers.
The 15-second video posted by @isaiahafk shows him wearing a black Panda Express apron and matching hat while pointing to the sizzling American Chinese food as he rants, “Bro, people really coming to Panda Express at 10:00 a.m. for some of this. Like really? Sometimes, they come at 7:00, 6:00, doing shit early in the morning. How are you going to wake up and want some orange chicken?”
“Like what??? It’s too sweet and heavy for the morning,” @isaiahafk wrote in the caption.
Many took to the video’s comments section to offer up their arguments as to why customers may want to purchase orange chicken at 10:00 a.m.
“Some people buy it in the morning so they can save it for lunch,” one comment said.
Another suggested, “Some start their day early so by 10am that’s lunch not breakfast don’t be getting mad ain’t everybody waking up at the time you think.”
Other comments empathized with @isaiahafk’s sentiments, sharing their own experiences working in the food industry.
One comment said, “Same I work at Pollo loco and we open at 10 and I already have a line of Mexicans wanting chicken.”
“I get calls as soon I walk into work at 7am. Talking about ‘can I get 10 breakfast burritos’ 😂 SIR IT’S 7 IN THE MORNING! 💀” another commented.
“People really be coming at Starbucks at 11:30 pm for a strawberry acai lemonade double blended with peach juice on top….” one user said.
Panda Express locations open at varying times, usually between 10:00 -11:00 a.m., although the TikToker indicated customers can place orders before opening time.
The original TikTok user @isaiahafk makes videos about working in the fast food industry and has shared many other stories about his experiences working at Panda Express and Domino’s.
