‘Rabid Blink’: Hugh Grant says he’s a BLACKPINK fan after attending concert
British actor Hugh Grant recently expressed his admiration for K-pop girl group BLACKPINK after attending their concert in London.
Grant’s tweet: The 62-year-old Golden Globe winner took to Twitter on Monday to express his gratitude to three young fans who accompanied him to the show and to declare himself a “rabid Blink” before jokingly revealing that he slept with his “heart hammer,” a reference to BLACKPINK’s light stick merch item.
Evidence of Grant’s attendance at the BST Hyde Park concert surfaced through photos and videos shared online. In one video, the actor can be seen wearing an official “Born Pink” hoodie.
BLACKPINK makes history: The K-pop girl group achieved a historic milestone on Sunday as the first-ever K-pop group to headline a major music festival in the United Kingdom. Members Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé performed for a crowd of 65,000 attendees.
They are currently on a global tour to promote their 2022 album “Born Pink,” with upcoming shows in France and Vietnam. Additionally, the K-pop stars have scheduled performances in four cities across the United States in August as part of their encore tour.
