Woman’s Note to Her Mom Before Heading Back to College is Making the Internet Fall to Pieces

A mother has gone viral on social media for her tear-jerking photos with a note left by her daughter.
Victoria Nguyen, who attends UCLA, shared snaps of her mother crying after she left home for school last week.
“I visit home occasionally from UCLA,” she posted on Twitter. “I left a note for my mommy and this happened. I don’t deserve her.”
Nguyen’s post has garnered at least 55,000 likes and 7,000 retweets since it was first tweeted May 2, leaving many sorting out their own feelings.
In a follow-up tweet, she shared a message from her mother, who hopes that her pictures would inspire others to be good kids:
“I should just drop out of school and stay at home with my mom forever,” Nguyen said after learning that her mother was eating alone.

Nguyen said that she will be home for Mother’s Day and will post more photos on Instagram.
