Veteran K-pop group KARA confirmed to make 15th anniversary comeback
K-pop icons KARA are set to reunite
On Monday, RBW Entertainment, which owns KARA’s label DSP Media, told MBC News about a five-member return and an upcoming music video.
According to Soompi, their statement reads: “KARA will be releasing their 15th debut anniversary album in November. Since they are showcasing their 15th debut anniversary album after gathering together for the first time in a while, we plan on supporting the KARA members so that they can express their feelings of wanting to gift their fans to the fullest.”
This will be the group’s first comeback in nearly seven years since their seventh mini-album “In Love,” which was released in 2015. Members Heo Young-ji, Park Gyu-ri and Han Seung-yeon will finally collaborate once more with members Kang Ji-young and Nicole, who both left the girl group in 2014.
Back in June, all five members met up to commemorate their 15th anniversary.
KARA debuted in 2007 and released hits such as “Pretty Girl,” “Honey,” “Lupin,” “Mister” and “Jumping.” Other veteran K-pop acts who have come back together this year for anniversary music releases include Girls’ Generation and EXID.
