Universal Studios Japan unveils its first-ever Pokémon-themed food for Halloween

Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is now selling an array of Pokémon-themed food for the first time to enchant Pokémon fans this Halloween season.
About the dishes: On Monday, the Studio Stars Restaurant within the park began offering a Pokémon-themed menu with a particular focus on Ghost-type Pokémon, such as Mimikyu, Gengar, Misdreavous and Banette, embracing the spirit of Halloween.
The menu boasts a variety of dishes, including DJ Pikachu’s Halloween Party Plate (beef stew); DJ Gengar’s Halloween Party Plate (three types of curry); Imitation! Mimikyu’s Milk Mousse and Crêpe; DJ Pikachu and DJ Gengar’s Jumpin’ Halloween Party Kids’ Plate (hamburger and a donut); and Banette’s Jumpin’ Chocolate Cake.
Prices for the dishes have yet to be announced.
HaHaHa! Halloween: From this Thursday to Nov. 5, USJ will feature a daytime event dubbed the “HaHaHa! Halloween Party.” The event promises a diverse lineup of activities, including the inaugural “Pokémon Jumpin’ Halloween Party,” featuring a DJ Pokémon Show with DJ Pikachu and DJ Gengar.
Other attractions include “Pokémon Charge-Up! Halloween Greeting” and “My Melody & Kuromi: Happy Halloween Greeting.”
Halloween Horror Nights: In addition to the daytime festivities, USJ’s “Halloween Horror Nights” will kick off on Friday and end on Nov. 5. The attraction will feature “Street Zombies,” an event set to host the largest number of zombies in the park’s history; the “Zombie de Dance” party with a tie-in to Japanese singer Ado; and the heart-pounding survival horror maze called “Biohazard [Resident Evil]: The Extreme.”
