Two Toddlers Killed Instantly After Falling From Parent’s Arms in Chinese Mall
By Khier Casino
Two children aged between 2-3 years old fell from a courtyard on the fourth floor of a Chinese shopping mall in Tianjin on Sunday night and died instantly.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. when an unidentified parent was holding the two children near to a glass barrier at the side of the courtyard four storeys up.
But the parent did not have a tight enough grip on the little ones and accidentally dropped them off the side, falling all the way to the first floor, according to Shanghaiist.
No further information on this incident is currently available.
But one Weibo user urged other netizens that they should not criticize the parent because no one should ever have to go through the heartbreaking experience of losing a child.
In November, a similar incident occurred at a mall in Shanghai where a grandmother lost her balance while trying to ride an escalator on the third floor and accidentally dropped the 4-month-old baby she was holding off to the side.
