TWICE dropped their new mini-
The girl group’s latest album comes with six other tracks apart from the lead single: “Queen of Hearts,” “Basics,” “Trouble,” “Brave,” “Gone” and “When We Were Kids.” Members Chaeyoung, Jihyo and Dahyun helped to create some of the new songs. While Chaeyoung wrote lyrics for “Basics” and Dahyun wrote lyrics for “Gone” and “When We Were Kids,” Jihyo co-composed and penned “Trouble.”
This is TWICE’s first domestic comeback of the year and their latest since all nine members announced their unanimous contract renewal with their label JYP Entertainment a month ago.
In their music video for “Talk that Talk,” TWICE hid a special message for their fans, ONCE, in the final scene. A QR code directs viewers to an Instagram post from Nov. 3, 2015, which is when the group’s official fandom name was created. Per a translation from Koreaboo, the caption of the post reads,
“Our fans love the word “ONCE.” ONCE and TWICE. We feel like “ONCE” and “TWICE” go together like needle and thread. For all the support that we’ve received from ONCEs, even if it was only for once, we’re set on returning it twice as much. In life, making genuine connections—even the brief ones—is definitely rare. So we’re grateful for ONCEs who give us that kind of love. As TWICE, we’ll continue to work hard so that you can’t forget about us once you get to know us. ONCE & TWICE, let us be forever. We love you!”
