TWICE’s Jihyo makes solo debut with ‘ZONE’
Jihyo, the leader of K-pop girl group TWICE, has taken the leap into the solo spotlight with her debut album “ZONE.”
About the album: After the release of TWICE vocalist Nayeon’s debut solo EP ”Im Nayeon” in June 2022, Jihyo has emerged as the group’s second member to embark on her official solo journey.
“ZONE” contains seven tracks total, including the title track “Killin’ Me Good” and notable B-sides “Talkin’ About It” with 24kGoldn and the duet number “Don’t Wanna Go Back,” featuring South Korean singer-songwriter Heize. Jihyo co-composed and co-wrote a majority of the songs on the album.
Other activities: In March, TWICE released the mini-album “Ready To Be,” led by the single “Set Me Free.” This was followed by the group’s “Ready To Be” world tour, which is set to conclude with 38 shows total by the end of December.
Last month, TWICE debuted their first-ever subunit, MISAMO, uniting Japanese members Sana, Mina and Momo for the mini-album “Masterpiece.”
