What he posted: In a video posted on Tuesday, TikTok user @zavhbruh claims that his mother has “OCD, germaphobia, borderline personality disorder (BPD), narcissism, schizophrenia, depression, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), etc.” The video has gone viral with over 35.6 million views.

Rules to live by: According to @zavhbruh, he is usually not allowed to enter their home through the front door. Instead, he has to go through the garage, where he switches from his outdoor shoes to home sandals, minus the socks. The TikToker says he is restricted to the first floor, must use his own bathroom and sit on his own chair. His mother does not touch anything on the first floor because he “apparently made everything dirty.”

“I usually just walk into my room and chill by myself,” he says. “This room is extremely big. Yeah, it’s a really nice house. But I don’t f*ckin feel happy in it.”

In a more recent video, however, @zavhbruh reveals that he hugged his mother “for the first time in a very long time,” explaining in the on-screen caption that it happened while they were out on an errand.

The TikTok user says he was caught off guard when his mother hugged him tight and told him she loves him, noting that he last heard her say it when he was still a child.

What people are saying: Many users found @zavhbruh’s video relatable. However, others pointed out that the situation must be harder for his mother.

“I have never felt so seen EVER in my life. My mom has severe contamination OCD and I nearly cried when I watched this,” one commented.

Another shared, “I have contamination OCD, I understood all of this. I’m sorry you’re going through this but keep in mind it’s much harder for her.”
