“Girl of My Dreams” is a part of Juice WRLD’s second posthumous album, “Fighting Demons,” since his death in December 2019.
This is the first time a song by either artist has hit No. 1 on any chart. The single has sold over 40,000 copies as of this writing, according to Forbes.
Both Juice WRLD’s “Come and Go” with Marshmallow, and Suga’s single as his alter ego Agust D, “Daechwita,” peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales Chart in 2020.
Suga has also been featured as a soloist on other songs by American artists, including “Blueberry Eyes” by MAX which peaked at No. 39 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart.
Suga is the first Korean solo artist to ever debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales Chart. He also joined his fellow BTS members as the only Asian group to do so. Suga broke another record by becoming the Asian soloist with the most entries on the chart with 16 songs.
