Ryan Kaji, a child influencer from Texas, remains the highest-paid YouTuber for the third consecutive year with nearly $30 million in earnings for 2020.
Kaji, who reviews toys on his YouTube channel Ryan’s World, earned $29.5 million from his unboxing videos on YouTube and raked in $200 million in sales for his branded merchandise sold in Target, Amazon and Walmart last year, according to The Strait Times.
In addition to his YouTube channel, Kaji also has a TV deal with Nick Jr. for the show “Ryan’s Mystery Playdate.”
The list of 10 highest earners for June 2019 to June 2020 made a combined total of $211 million, a 30% jump from last year’s $162 million.
Kaji’s parents help run the channel that they launched for the child YouTuber in 2015. It mainly focuses on unboxing contents where Kaji unboxes toys and gives his review about them while playing.
Ryan’s World currently has 27.6 million subscribers and 12.2 billion views. One of Kaji’s popular videos is the “Huge Eggs Surprise Toys Challenge” that they posted in 2016. It received over 2 billion views on YouTube, making it one of the 60 most-viewed videos on the video-sharing platform.
