Adorable ‘BBC Interview Kids’ Get a Web Series Made About Them
By Carl Samson
A little over a month after crashing into their dad’s live television interview, Marion and James Kelly are back to amuse us with their “very own” show.
See, these kids must already have some fan base, so why not? And this one isn’t just a parody, y’all!
The show, titled “The Adventures of Mina and Jack,” is an animated web series based on how the world and their own father saw the siblings — “terribly cute.” Hans House Productions released its first episode on YouTube last week.
The characters accurately depicted the family of Professor Robert Kelly without a sweat. In the pilot, we see the mischievous kids join their father — who works for the U.N. (“the un,” according to Mina) — on a mission to catch a gold thief in North Africa.
Mina and Jack get to sneak out of home, ride an elephant and end up in a busy market. As expected, their mom freaks out.
The show has Professor Robert Kelly and his family’s full blessing. In a press release, the professor commented, “I thought it was so cute. My wife and I both laughed. They made me look suitably dorky.”
The series is written and directed by Lauren Martin, with creative direction and animation by RAXO.
