‘Go Back to China Where You Belong’: Racist Incident Caught on Video in Canada

A racist tirade by a middle-aged White woman was caught on video at a parking lot in Richmond City, Canada.
The footage of the verbal attack on Friday afternoon surfaced on social media, prompting an ongoing investigation by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The video shows two cars parked bumper to bumper, with one of them crossing the white line dividing the two spots.
The woman on film can be heard raising her voice at the other woman filming her. She even stuck her tongue out before unleashing another barrage of racial slurs.
“Go back to China where you belong,” she said. “We hate you people.”
The woman who captured the clip of the vicious rant, identified as Amy Xu, was with her three-year-old daughter and her mother at the plaza that afternoon, her friend told City News in an interview.
Xu had just dropped her mother off at a clinic when she noticed that a car had encroached on her spot and even touched her car’s bumper. When the driver of the offending vehicle returned, she began hurling racist slurs at them as shown in the clip.
The victim’s husband, Fang Xu, told CTV News Vancouver that his wife merely reacted after noticing that the two cars were touching.
“My daughter was there, so my wife didn’t want to argue with her,” Fang Xu said, noting that there wasn’t much damage to either car.
“We are not upset about (damage),” he was quoted as saying. “We are angry about what she said.”
According to Fang Xu, he and his wife have not yet spoken to RCMP about the incident, although they intend to discuss the situation further with the authorities.
The video, which was originally posted to WeChat, has been reuploaded and has been widely shared on different social media platforms.
While the ranting woman has yet to be identified, netizens have flocked to a Facebook profile of a woman many believe to be her.
After initially denying knowledge of the incident, the owner of the account posted this reaction on the comment section:
