Snake Bites Teen’s Penis While Using the Toilet in Thailand

The incident happened on September 8 when university student Siraphop Masukar went to use the toilet in his home, Viral Press reported.

 

“I was using the toilet but a few moments after I sat down, I suddenly felt pain in my penis,” he said, according to the Daily Mirror. “I looked down and saw there was a snake hanging in the toilet. Then there was blood everywhere.”

The teen ran out of the bathroom in terror with his pants around his ankles. He tried to slam the bathroom door on the snake that was still gripping his penis, but the snake let go of after he got up from the toilet.

Siraphop was rushed to Bang Yai Hospital. The incident left a bloody mess inside their home.

Animal control was later called into the apartment and found the snake still coiled inside the toilet.

The teen’s mother didn’t know how the snake got inside their home but was thankful it wasn’t a venomous breed.

“I don’t know how the snake got into my house. It could have been through the drain connected to the toilet,” she said. “I know the snake really hurt my son but I’m relieved it was only a non-venomous python. If it was a cobra, he would be dead.”

“He will be scared every time he goes to toilet,” she added. “But he’s recovering well at the hospital and I’m thankful to the rescue volunteers for catching the snake.”

Siraphop received four stitches on the glands at the tip of his penis and the wound was treated with an antibiotic wash to kill any bacteria in the affected area.
