Sweet or sour? Panda Express teams with Uprisers for Chinese takeout-inspired fashion

Panda Express and Asian American and Pacific Islander-owned streetwear brand Uprisers are collaborating on a new limited-edition collection called “Future Is Now.”
The full collection will make its introduction at ComplexCon, which will be held in Long Beach, California, from Nov. 19-20.
The reversible varsity bomber, which costs $220, is covered with chenille Uprisers and Panda Express graphic details and is perfect to wear all year round. The jacket is complete with a double-sided zipper, so the wearer can turn the jacket inside-out.

The takeout bag costs $110 and is inspired by Panda Express’ takeout box. You can hold the bag by the short strap or carry it on your shoulder with the gunmetal chain.

The world tour tee is priced at $45 and comes with a “Future Is Now” graphic printed on the front. The names of 10 Asian-owned brands taking part in Uprisers’ 2022 Family Market are also printed on the back of the T-shirt.

The limited-edition air fresheners come in three scents: Incense and Tangerine Peel, Almond Cookie and Clean Laundry. A three-pack costs $24.
The entire collection was inspired by the Los Angeles-based clothing brand’s slogan, “what you wear is what you represent,” and celebrates both companies’ cultural roots.
Ten percent of proceeds from the Uprisers x Panda Express collection will be donated to the Filipino Migrant Center in Long Beach.
