Unlimited flights, a new condo: Here are some of the perks Olympic medalists have received

Subway rides: Hong Kong’s Edgar Cheung, who won gold in men’s individual foil, will never need to pay for another train ride again. MTR Corporation has vowed to give him free rides for life, according to CNN.

A position as an ambassador: Thailand’s Panipak Wongpattanakit, who won gold in women’s taekwondo in the 49-kilogram (108 pounds) category, was recently appointed as a sport and tourism ambassador, the Bangkok Post reported.

Unlimited flights: The Philippines’ Hidilyn Diaz, who won gold in women’s weightlifting in the 55-kilogram (121 pounds) category, will be able to fly to more than 140 destinations for free thanks to Philippine Airlines and AirAsia Philippines, ABS-CBN shared.

A new condominium, house and van: In addition to free flights, Diaz was promised a Metro Manila condominium by a property developer affiliated with Alliance Global Group, according to Nikkei Asia. She was also promised a house and lot worth 4 million Philippines pesos ($281,505) by Century Properties and a 13-seater van by commercial vehicle manufacturer FOTON Motor Philippines Inc.

A meatball restaurant and five cows: A chain of meatball restaurants has promised to give Indonesia’s Apriyani Rahayu and Greysia Polii, who won gold in women’s doubles badminton, their own outlets, CBS News reported. Rahayu was also promised five cows by the district head of her hometown.

Movie tickets: India’s Saikhom Mirabai Chanu, who won silver in women’s weightlifting in the 49-kilogram (108 pounds) category, was offered free movie tickets for life, according to Reuters. Multiplex chain INOX has vowed to give Indian medalists a lifetime supply of movie tickets, and the athletes who don’t win any medals won’t go home empty-handed – they’ll be given a year’s worth of tickets.

A lifetime supply of pizza: Chanu was also offered free pizza from Domino’s India for the rest of her life, a reward most people can only dream of. She shared that she wanted pizza after her weightlifting event, and Domino’s delivered.
