NASCAR’s Kyle Larson welcomes new baby

NASCAR driver Kyle Larson and his wife Katelyn recently welcomed a new member to their growing family.
In a tweet on Monday, Larson, 30, announced that his wife gave birth to their son, Cooper Donald Larson, on Dec. 31, 2022.
Katelyn shared the same news on Instagram later that day.
“Welcome to the family! We are all obsessed,” she wrote about their third child after Owen, 8, and Audrey, 4.
Larson previously shared that the part he enjoys the most about being a father is getting up to feed his baby long after everyone else has gone to bed.
I actually like the middle of the night wakeups and getting to feed your baby and spend a little quality time holding them while they are new. I like all that. Those milestones of the first few months go by really fast. They develop so fast that soaking all that in, I’ve really enjoyed that with the two kids. Hopefully, this one is as easy as they’ve been and not too tough.
Last month, Shifting Gears reported that the Asian American NASCAR driver has been cutting back on off-season races to prepare for his son’s birth and to spend time with his family.
While he may not have several plans for the off-season, the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion mentioned that he has an upcoming dirt late model event in New Mexico this month.
Larson is also scheduled to race at the Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum. The annual pre-season NASCAR Cup Series exhibition event will be held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Feb. 5.
