Starship Entertainment K-pop boy group Monsta X were announced as headliners yesterday for Nickelodeon’s inaugural music festival, Nickfest.
Joining Monsta X as a headliner act is The Kid Laroi. Other performers include Beabadoobee, Tiffany Day, Joshua Bassett, Alec Benjamin, San Holo and Salem Ilese, who has collaborated with K-pop boy group TXT on her single “PS5,” to name a few.

Nickfest will come with Nickelodeon content-themed interactive activities, immersive experiences and rides such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Training Course, SpongeBob SquarePants Krusty Krab and Fry Cook Games, a ferris wheel and a slime area, according to a press release. As the event occurs in October, Nickfest’s orange colors will be accompanied by Halloween influences including a pumpkin patch and costume contest.
The music festival will take place on Oct. 22 and 23 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. Pre-sales start Wednesday for American Express Platinum cardholders, and general public sales start on July 26 at 1 p.m. ET. VIP tickets include VIP parking, expedited entry, access to special performance viewing areas, entry into the lounge and other concessions.
VIP tickets cost $220 for a one-day pass and $360 for a two-day pass. General admission tickets will cost $115 for a one-day pass and $175 for a two-day pass. Tickets will be available to purchase through the Nickfest website.
For those wanting to prepare for Monsta X’s headline performance, the group released their 11th mini-album “Shape Of Love” this last April paired with the music video for the album’s title track “Love.” The boy group is no stranger to collaborations with kid-friendly channels, as they also appeared on an episode of Cartoon Network’s “We Bare Bears” in 2019.
