$60 Million Lottery Winner Claims Husband Dreamed of Winning Numbers
Pravatoudom and her 14 siblings moved to Canada from Laos in 1980.
For over four decades, Pravatoudom and her husband struggled to make ends meet: “My husband and I have worked long hours as general labourers for over 40 years, trying to save what we could for our family. Due to the pandemic I was laid off last spring, so this money will certainly help make our lives much easier.”
With their newfound wealth, Pravatoudom and her husband plan on buying a house, paying off their bills, traveling, and supporting their immediate and extended family, according to OLG.
When presented with the check during OLG’s first virtual Winner’s Celebration, Pravatoudom said, “I am going to buy a house, then if it’s allowed after Covid, I’m going to travel the world… Except for when I came to Canada from Laos, I have never really travelled so I want to see Europe, Texas, Hawaii… I am excited to see the world.”
