The Black Label and 88rising
Two more artists have been announced for 88rising’s Head in the Clouds (HITC) Los Angeles music festival next month.
The announcement: On July 24, the HITC Instagram account shared that Loren (stylized LØREN) of The Black Label and KnowKnow, a member of Chinese hip hop group Higher Brothers, will be joining the festival lineup.   
They are the latest additions to the festival lineup that includes headliners DPR Live, DPR Ian, Jackson Wang, NIKI, Rich Brian, Rina Sawayama, XG, YOASOBI and special guest ZEDD.  
Other talents that will take the stage include ATARASHII GAKKO!, dhruv, MILLI, Stephanie Poetri, Tiger JK, TOKiMONSTA, Warren Hue, Yerin Baek and Zion.T, to name a few.
Background on Loren and KnowKnow: Loren is an alt-rock solo artist under YG Entertainment’s subsidiary The Black Label who has written and featured in music from BLACKPINK. In March, he released his debut EP “Put Up a Fight.” He performed at Coachella in April and at HITC’s inaugural New York festival in May.
KnowKnow is a member of Higher Brothers, alongside members MaSiWei, Psy.P and Melo. The quartet are part of the Chinese rap collective Chengdu Rap House. Higher Brothers debuted in 2016 and are known for their songs “Made in China” and “WeChat.” Tracks that KnowKnow has released with 88rising include “Mr. Bentley,” “At the Same Time” and “Fight Club.” 
About HITC LA: HITC LA returns to Brookside at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on Aug. 5 and 6. 
For the fourth consecutive year, 88rising has once again joined forces with 626 Night Market, the largest night market in the United States. This year’s food and concessions will include the debut of Boba Village, a showcase of several boba shops such as Bobaful, Factory Tea Bar, Hey Hey, Milk + Tea, Sunright Tea Studio and Trà Space.
Other notable food vendors this year are popular L.A. eateries Bone Kettle, Bopomofo Cafe, Cocodealers, The Drunken Dumpling and IKI Ramen.
