Liev Schrieber and Naomi Watts’ son perceived as ‘too beautiful’ by Japanese netizens
The 13-year-old son of Hollywood actors Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts was deemed “too beautiful” and compared to Japanese animated characters on social media.
Samuel Kai Schreiber recently went viral on Twitter in Japan for resembling an anime character after a Twitter user deemed him “too beautiful,” reported Sora News 24.
A photo of the young boy in a black suit, featuring his long, blonde hair, taken at the 2017 Emmy Awards recently resurfaced on Twitter when @poisoncookie00 shared the picture and captioned the post, “The issue of Liev Schreiber’s son being too beautiful.”
The tweet has received nearly 140,000 likes and more than 14,000 retweets, as of this writing. According to SoraNews24, Japanese netizens have taken to making comparisons between him and various anime characters, including “Howl” from Studio Ghibli’s 2004 animated film “Howl’s Moving Castle,” “Kurapika” from 2011 anime series “Hunter x Hunter” and “Yurio” from the 2016 anime series “Yuri on Ice.”
“It feels like an anime character made into 3-D with AI!” one user said.
“A real bishonen!” another user wrote, using a Japanese term that translates to “beautiful boy.”
