The Grammy-nominated singer and actress may be best known for her musical talents and for providing the singing voices of Mulan and Princess Jasmine in the animated blockbusters.

Among the show’s highlights include Salonga performing “On My Own” from “Les Misérables,” “A Whole New World” from “Aladdin” and “Reflection” from “Mulan” to a live audience.
Salonga, who starred in the 2017 revival of “Once on This Island,” made her debut in the Broadway musical scene in 1991 with her Tony-winning performance as Kim in “Miss Saigon.”
After being the first Asian actress to win a Tony Award, she also became the first Asian to be cast as Éponine when she joined the musical “Les Misérables” on Broadway in 1993.
“Lea Salonga in Concert,” which was produced by the nonprofit Center for Asian American Media (CAAM), sold-out its world premiere at a drive-in screening in San Francisco’s Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture on Oct. 14. The event was organized to celebrate Filipino American History Month.
