Kyriana Kratter boards ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’ series
“Bunk’d” star Kyriana Kratter was one of the young cast members introduced at London’s Star Wars Celebration event for the upcoming series “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.”
Kratter plays a lead role in the show, which centers around a group of 10-year-old children who become lost in the Star Wars galaxy and must find their way home. She is joined by Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Robert Timothy Smith and Jude Law, who will play a Jedi who guides the children in their journey.
The series was created and executive produced by director Jon Watts and screenwriter Chris Ford, who are known for their work on “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” Other directors for the series include Oscar-winning “Everything Everywhere All at Once” filmmakers Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, “Beef” director Jake Schreier and “Minari” director Lee Isaac Chung, among others.
The Star Wars Celebration also revealed a new “Star Wars: Ahsoka” teaser trailer starring Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo and Eman Esfandi.
Additionally, two-time Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will become the first woman of color to direct a Star Wars film. The film is currently untitled but will star Daisy Ridley as Rey as she rebuilds the Jedi Order.
