Ip Man, Bruce Lee, and Wong Fei-Hung Are Going to Be in One Epic Kung Fu Movie

 

The film, directed by “Kung Fu Hustle” producer Jeffrey Lau, was first released in late 2018 in China, Singapore and Vietnam, according to its IMDB page.

“Kung Fu League” follows the story of artist Fei Ying Xiong in his quest to win over the woman he loves. Desperate in his pursuit of romance, the artist summons four kung fu masters to help him defeat all enemies that stand in his way.

Vincent Zhao Wenzhuo reprises his role as Wong Fei-hung in “Kung Fu League”. He first played as the martial artist, physician and folk hero after Jet Li’s departure in “Once Upon a Time in China IV”.

Andy On plays the role of Huo Yuanjia, a Chinese martial artist and co-founder of the Chin Woo Athletic Association, a martial arts school in Shanghai. Dennis To takes up the role of Wing Chun master, Ip Man.

Kwok-Kwak Chan is set to portray Chen Zhen, a fictional character who was first played by the legendary action star and martial artist Bruce Lee in the 1972 film “Fist of Fury.”

“Kung Fu League” is set to be distributed by Well Go USA Entertainment. It will be available for purchase starting Sept. 17, 2019.
