Kevin Kreider, star of the popular Netflix reality series “Bling Empire,” recently received a Cartier ring from friend and co-star Christine Chiu but accidentally dropped it in the ocean shortly after.
Chiu had reportedly given out Cartier jewelry to her castmates, who were also attendees of a yacht party organized to celebrate her and Kane Lim’s birthdays, according to AsiaOne.
Lim, who documented their yacht party via a series of Instagram Stories, revealed how Kreider lost his Cartier ring in one of the clips.
“@kevin.kreider dropped his Cartier into the ocean,” he wrote. In the video, Lim yelled “Kevin!” while laughing.
Kreider, who can be heard saying, “That was the only Cartier I got,” appears to be genuinely frustrated over the ordeal.
Originally from Korea, the 37-year-old model was adopted into a white family as a baby. Kreider has expressed hope in finding his biological parents with his newfound fame through “Bling Empire,” according to SCMP.
Before being cast on the show, Kreider worked as a model and as a fitness coach while also running his own production company called Taejin Entertainment LLC.
