KCON, a global fan festival that celebrates Korean music and culture, is making its much-anticipated return after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. This year marks the 10th anniversary of this event, which in the past has featured K-pop icons such as BTS, Girl’s Generation and G-Dragon.
The past two years saw KCON go digital due to COVID, with concert offerings and artist appearances through their YouTube channel. Fans will also have the option to attend the festival virtually again this year.

This year’s festival will have kick-off “Premiere” events throughout the month of May in Seoul, Tokyo and Chicago, before heading to its flagship Los Angeles location in August for the main festivities.
Don Kim, the director of live entertainment at CJ ENM remarked: “With the return of KCON, fans will once again be able to interact with their favorite artists and influencers, as well as the rest of the K-pop fan community… the team here is buzzing with excitement as we prepare to create an event worthy of celebrating a decade of unforgettable KCON moments.”
