Kim Kardashian Rented Out the Entire Staples Center For Kanye West’s Birthday Party

Reality star and
Kardashian chose the Staples Center as the location for West’s birthday party so that West, a team of NBA stars and a few dozen of his famous buddies could play basketball.
It was supposed to be a surprise party, which is why Kardashian, 34, blindfolded West as they drove to the Staples Center on the night of the party.
The party was A-listers only. In attendance were NBA power players Russell Westbrook and John Wall, Justin Bieber, Tyga and Pusha T, among others. John Legend was on hand to sing West a happy birthday.
Kardashian wanted the basketball game party to feel official so she even hired real NBA referees and a few Laker girls. In addition, Houston Rockets guard James Harden and rapper 2 Chainz acted as celebrity coaches for Yeezy’s big day.
As West shot hoops, the Kardashian-Jenner clan of Kim, Khloe and Kylie Jenner took photos of the rapper and his friends to post on Instagram. One of Khloe’s captions on Instagram read:
“Kim rented out staples bitch!!! Him and his boys are going to ball!!!! Happy birthday Yeezy!!!!”
Kim’s Instagram of her and her hubby included the caption:
“Happy Birthday to my best friend in the entire world! You are the most amazing husband & dad! You inspire me every single day! You make all of your dreams reality & it’s fascinating to be by your side & watching it all happen! You have a heart of gold! Have the best birthday ever! #SWISH.”
Kim also took to Instagram to thank the arena:
“Thank you Staples Center for the most amazing birthday party for Kanye!”
Dropping six figures to rent out the 20,000-capacity stadium is pocket change to Kardashian, especially since she made an estimated $28 million alone last year. And besides, sticker shock isn’t something the Kardashian-West super duo seem to ever experience. West spent $200,000 to rent out AT&T Park in October of 2013 just so he could propose to Kim, and their subsequent wedding reportedly cost upwards of an astounding $30 million.
Yep, that’s all definitely chump change.
