Low-cost airline Jetstar invited at least 40 Spider-Man cosplayers onboard one of its planes in Japan, making it much easier than using webs to travel around.
The Spider-Man themed plane is part of the budget carrier’s campaign to celebrate the release of the highly anticipated “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, which comes out in theaters this summer.
Jetstar Asia said in a statement on Facebook:
“Our sister airline Jetstar Japan today launched Spider-Jet, which flew its inaugural flight between Tokyo and Osaka, carrying 40 ‘Spider-men’, contest winners who happily donned their Spidey costume for the event.
“And inside Narita T3, it was like a mini Marvel-Con with the characters in action!
“While the Spider-jet’s already flying in Japan, it’s still two more weeks till Spider-Man: Homecoming the movie opens in Asia.”
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” follows Peter Parker through his high school days as his help is enlisted by Tony Stark to fight bad guys like Adrian Toomes, a.k.a. the Vulture, according to CBR.com.
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” lands in theaters on July 7.
