Japanese People Are Going Crazy Over This DIY iPhone Case
By Carl Samson
Japanese iPhone users have found an unusual embellishment to add some oomph to their devices.
Go through #evian on Instagram — you won’t just see bottles of the French mineral water brand. Apparently, iPhone users in Japan figured they can do something more than just drink and throw empty containers.
You only need to cut out Evian’s logo from a bottle and paste it on a clear iPhone case.
So far, people have come up with all sorts of designs – from minimal to over-the-top.

Some are even selling their creations, with this one just a little above $5:
Evian holds 3% of Japan’s mineral water market, falling behind local brands like Kirin and Suntory, Mashable said.
That keeps us puzzled how the whole trend even happened, though we can guess Evian makers are smiling from the French Alps.
