Jackson Wang and Milli play ‘Mind Games’ with live debut of new song in Thailand

Wang opened the track before Milli surprised the crowd and joined him on stage to thunderous cheers and applause. At the song’s conclusion, Wang announced that the track is called “Mind Games” and is indeed a collaboration between the two artists.

At one point, Milli asked Wang what he’d like to eat in Thailand. He jokingly replied, “mango sticky rice,” referencing the name of one of Milli’s songs and a food the rapper helped popularize after eating it onstage during her Coachella debut performance. Wang and Milli both performed at 88rising’s Coachella show this past April.

Milli’s label Yupp! Records later confirmed on Instagram that the track will feature on Wang’s upcoming album “Magic Man,” which is slated for a September release.

Wang’s song “Blow,” which dropped last March, is another single on the anticipated album. Prior to “Blow,” Wang shared his mixtape “Lost and Found,” which featured eight previously unreleased songs.

Aside from Wang, Got7 and its respective members have also been giving fans plenty of music content. In May, the group released their first comeback since leaving JYP Entertainment with a self-titled EP and title track music video “Nanana.” They partnered with Warner Music for the release of the EP.

Thai member Bambam partnered with the Golden State Warriors’ new entertainment division in April, released a solo called “Wheels Up” and became the first K-pop idol to perform at an NBA half-time show. Member Mark Tuan, who is releasing an album in August and embarking on a North American tour, dropped the single “Imysm” earlier this month.

Both Wang and Milli will perform at 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Music Festival in August, alongside other noted artists such as Niki, who has a North American tour coming up in September, and Chungha and Jay Park, who both dropped new music this week.
