Henry Golding’s Audition Reel for a Malaysian Travel Show is a Wholesome Cringe

Henry Golding, the all-around stunning “Crazy Rich Asians” actor, apparently has a very awkward audition tape that he sent when he applied to be a travel show host in Malaysia.
While on the guest chair in “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the 32-year-old English-Malaysian actor shared his story.
Golding, while still in England, shot a few scenes that he would give to the producers of the show in Malaysia for his audition.
“I was in London going around the East End trying to sort of be natural and not really understanding what to do with my hands or with my arms,” Golding explained.
Host Jimmy Fallon then surprised him that “The Tonight Show” was able to get a copy of his audition reel.
The clip only showed a few places that he visited in London, but the main highlight is how he awkwardly threw his arms up and looked directly into the camera while eating noodles.
Golding is set to appear in “Last Christmas” on November 8 alongside “Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke.
