Video: Hello Kitty covers ‘Sailor Moon’ theme song ‘Moonlight Densetsu’

Hello Kitty recently shared an official cover of the original “Sailor Moon” anime series’ opening theme song, “Moonlight Densetsu.”
An animated Hello Kitty can be seen singing into a mic while wearing pink headphones, a red bow, a yellow shirt and blue overalls. Throughout the video, she shows different facial expressions as she belts out various notes.
In addition to voicing Hello Kitty, Hayashibara has also voiced characters from “Cowboy Bebop,” “Detective Conan” and “Pokémon,” among many others.
Perfect timing: The recent Hello Kitty cover was shared on the same day as the premiere of Toei Company’s two-part film “Sailor Moon Cosmos,” which marks the conclusion of the current “Sailor Moon” remake.
In the film, Hayashibara voices Sailor Galaxia, an enemy of Sailor Moon.
