(G)I-DLE member Minnie releases first solo single ‘Expectations’ featuring Anne-Marie

(G)I-DLE’s Minnie has released her first official solo, “Expectations,” featuring British pop singer Anne Marie.

The track was first teased last month on various social media platforms, followed by a preview shared on TikTok on Friday.

The collaboration, along with its music video, was officially released on Thursday.

While the Thai (G)I-DLE member has previously contributed songs to K-drama OSTs (original soundtracks), such as 2020’s “Getaway” for the MBN series “My Dangerous Wife,” this is her first official solo single.

As for Anne-Marie, she is no newcomer to K-pop. In August 2022, she collaborated with SEVENTEEN on a new version of their single “_WORLD.”
