Taiwanese superstar Jam Hsiao’s awe-inspiring resort-style home became many netizens’ object of envy after it was featured in his recent video.
The video, which introduces the 31-year-old celebrity as the host of the upcoming 29th Golden Melody Awards, has been viewed over 200,000 times since it was first posted on May 25 on YouTube.
The property, which he purchased last year for 200 million Taiwan New Dollars ($6.65 million) as a present to himself for his 30th birthday, conveniently faces the popular Nangang Park.
The house’s spacious interior is well-lit and further emphasized by the installation of mirrors on one side of the wall.
Aside from a large garage for his sports car, his mansion also comes with its own swimming pool, personal gym, a mini-basketball area, and a rooftop with a spectacular view.
He also allocated space for his collections, including the numerous awards he received throughout his career, artworks, sneakers, motorcycles, and action figures.
Surrounded by lush greenery, the mansion has a relaxing vibe which “reminds him very much of Balinese resorts.”
Hsiao, who rose to stardom after showcasing his vocal prowess on the first season of singing competition “One Million Star” in 2007, has been tapped to replace Taiwanese comedian Mickey Huang as the main host of the 29th Golden Melody Awards on June 23.
