Comedian Sums Up What Many Think After the Florida School Shooting, But Is He Right?
British-Chinese comedian Ken Cheng has recently gone viral for his observational tweet in the wake of the Parkland Shooting.
“Terrorism is one of the only areas where white people do most of the work and get none of the credit,” he said on February 16, just two days after the massacre that left 17 dead.
The post garnered over 200,000 likes and 77,000 retweets in just a few short days, proving that the sentiment resonated with a lot of people.
Netizens had mixed reactions to his tweet; many applauded his stance…
…while others completely disagreed with him.
Of course, there were those who responded in a more racist fashion.
Most, however, were just there for the tea.
Mmm…tea.
