Chrissy Teigen Isn’t Happy With Nintendo’s New ‘Animal Crossing’ And It’s Hilarious
By Ryan General
Chrissy Teigen recently went on a hilarious rant on Twitter expressing her disappointment over a new free-to-play social simulation mobile game from Nintendo.
The 31-year-old model/actress who is known for her funny quips gave the recently released “Animal Crossing Pocket Camp” a scathing “review” via a series of tweets.
The popular social media personality did not mince words when she described her experience in playing the game to her over 7 million Twitter followers. Interestingly, her posts and the exchanges she had with her followers about the game indicate that Teigen is an actual fan of the ‘Animal Crossing’ series.
She criticized the mobile game for “merely a hit of the crack that is actual, real, animal crossing”. She also described the iteration poetically as a version that “lacks the heart. The soul. It’s a sandwich with no meat. A car without tires.”
She also mocked the absurdity of some in-game mechanics, saying “Who makes certain couch demands before visiting someone’s house? Then shows a video montage of them sleeping on it. I hate these people.”
“I need a hammock to have friends?” she asked further. “Fruit will grow faster if I throw money at it?”
Admittedly, she said she did throw money at the game, which is probably why she was a bit frustrated.
Her brutally honest tweet-reviews, like many of her other Twitter gems, have since been widely retweeted and shared to other social media platforms.
