Blong Simba Vang, 21, and Tou La Thao, 17, have been charged for allegedly bringing guns to Appleton East High School in Wisconsin to retaliate against another student.
Vang and Thao have both been charged with child abuse with intent to cause harm, while the 21-year-old also faces felony charges of bail jumping and possession of a firearm on school grounds.
Vang’s cash bond was set at $20,000 and Thao’s bond was set $15,000, according to the Post-Crescent.

A 16-year-old boy was also taken into custody last Thursday, but since he is a minor, he did not appear in court on Monday.
At the end of the school day on Thursday, a school liaison officer noticed two people in the hallway who did not appear to be students.
School staff began to check the parking lot and contacted police after they discovered a car that was not registered to Appleton East High.
Inside the vehicle were two firearms, a .40-caliber handgun wrapped in a red bandanna inside a paper bag, and a black bag with another .40-caliber gun, which was reportedly loaded.
According to the criminal complaint, the three men were at the school to “verbally confront” a student who had allegedly been bullying Vang’s girlfriend.
She said she was aware of the firearm in the trunk, but had no idea there was a second gun.
Vang also denied that he had plans to get into a fight or knowledge of weapons in the car.
None of the guns made it into the school building and no injuries have been reported.
Appleton School Superintendent Lee Allinger said safety is a top priority.
I want our parents to be reassured that we are focusing on safety and our partnership with the Appleton Police Department really has helped us out with that as well,” Allinger said, according to WSAW News.
