BLACKPINK’s Lisa is about to make history as the first K-pop act to perform at the historic Crazy Horse Cabaret in Paris.
Key details: In an announcement on Tuesday, Crazy Horse Cabaret, also known as Le Crazy Horse de Paris, revealed that Lisa, 26, will be performing “five exclusive shows” on Sept. 28, 29 and 30 on Avenue George V.
What to expect: The Thai K-pop star will be performing original Crazy Horse Paris acts and classics, such as “But I am a Good Girl” and “Crisis? What Crisis!?” The theater also teased that the BLACKPINK member will be “transformed into a ‘Crazy Girl’” during her performance.
Telling her fans: Lisa teased her social media followers with the announcement in an Instagram Story post captioned, “Shhh…coming soon.”
Even before the recent announcement, the BLACKPINK member previously shared a photo of herself surrounded by dancers from the theater.
Quickly selling out: Tickets for her performances were reportedly sold out soon after Crazy Horse Cabaret announced the details. Tickets were priced at 250 euros (approximately $268) each with a limit of 10 tickets per transaction.
About the theater: Crazy Horse Paris is a historic Parisian cabaret where women often perform in revealing outfits — and sometimes in the nude — in an artistic fashion through a combination of music, dancing and colorful visual effects and costumes.
Historic collaboration: While the theater has already collaborated with other big names in the music industry, such as Christina Aguilera and Beyoncé, Lisa will reportedly be the first K-pop star to appear onstage for a performance there.
How fans are reacting: Many BLACKPINK fans, collectively known as BLINKs, showed their support, with many asking the theater to allow online viewership.
