South Korean singer-songwriter BIBI to make K-drama debut in Netflix’s ‘Sweet Home’
South Korean singer-songwriter BIBI will make her K-drama debut in Season 2 of Netflix’s “Sweet Home.”
The news was announced by Netflix Korea on Monday. Details about her role and the second season’s release date have yet to be announced.
This will be BIBI’s second acting role following her appearance in the horror film “Whispering Corridors 6: The Humming,” which was released last year.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Sweet Home” is an apocalyptic horror series that was first released on Netflix in December 2020. Back in June, the show was renewed for a second and third season with several cast members – including Song Kang, Go Min-si, Lee Jin-wook, Lee Si-young and Park Gyu-young – slated to return.
In addition to “Sweet Home,” BIBI is working on her upcoming album. In an interview with NextShark last month, BIBI teased the project, saying, “If I were to define this album’s genre in one word, it would be ‘noir.’ You’ll see me dive into different concepts and styles in my upcoming album 100%.”
The Feel Ghood Music artist performed at 88rising’s Head in the Clouds festival in Pasadena, California, last month. Other notable artists who performed during the festival include Rich Brian, Jackson Wang, CHUNG HA, Jay Park, MILLI and Joji.
