British Woman Reveals Disgusting Abuse from Racist Man at UK Supermarket

A young British Chinese woman has taken to social media to speak out against a recent encounter with a racist man at a supermarket.
In an emotional video, Facebook user Bella Grace detailed the incident and then addressed the man directly in her message.
“Earlier today I was out for a grocery shop and heard racial comments thrown at me whilst I was in the queue,” Bella shared while speaking to the camera.
She then went on to reveal each of the slurs the man said to her.
“Go back to where you came from you Chinese pig.”
“You are dirty and are going to make us all sick.”
“You eat everything you can see, even people’s pets.”
“I would never let you near my dogs.”
“Animals have become extinct because of you and now the human race is endangered.”
“Are you going to start eating humans too?”
Acknowledging that the times may indeed be frustrating, Bella reminded her verbal attacker that this is still no excuse for racism.
“To the man who said these things and to other people who may have similar thoughts… I understand that you may be angry, tensions are running high. This is a very difficult situation for all of us to be in.”
“Saying things like that though is not OK. In fact, saying any racist comment is not OK. Actually, it hurts. We are all doing the best we can – staying in, social distancing, self-isolating if need be.”
In the end, Bella said she hopes her speaking up about the incident will give comfort to other victims of such attacks.
“I hope that bringing something like this up gives some sort of relief to people who may have gone through something similar,” she added.
Bella, who encouraged her followers to share her message, received numerous messages of support from her friends.
“That is [a] horrendous thing to say. Sorry you’ve had to suffer that. You might not want to but surely that is something you could report to the police,” one suggested.
“That horrible human is worst than any other he mentioned in his racist and malicious comment,” another commenter wrote. “I’m glad you stayed strong and used this to create awareness instead of taking it personally. I know you are sweet, well educated and it doesn’t matter whether you are Chinese, African or European. We are all human beings. Because of people like him we are we are today! Take care. Lots of love.”
