The K-pop girl group will be the only K-pop artist at this year’s lineup, which includes notable performers such as Sza, Foo Fighters, Kendrick Lamar and ODESZA.
The annual festival takes place in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park and will run from Aug. 11 through Aug. 13. Tickets for the event will go on sale March 8 at 10 a.m. PT and can be purchased on the festival’s website.
This new milestone for Aespa will follow their June performance at the Governor’s Ball festival in New York, where they will also be the first K-pop act to take the stage. The quartet made their U.S. festival debut last year on Coachella’s main stage. They also made their official late-night U.S. television debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and kicked off “Good Morning America”‘s Summer Concert Series in Central Park.
During their inaugural “SYNK: Hyper Line” concert last month, Aespa teased a forthcoming album with at least 11 new songs, including solos for each member. This coincides with SM Entertainment’s company revenue report, which documented upcoming projects for their various artists.
