Michelle Yeoh, Mindy Kaling among the API stars honored at Gold House’s inaugural Gold Gala

Michelle Yeoh, Mindy Kaling and other luminaries of Asian descent from the entertainment and business industries walked the red carpet in Downtown Los Angeles as nonprofit collective Gold House honored its annual list of A100 inductees at its first-ever Gold Gala.
The inaugural event, called “The New Gold Age,” was hosted on Saturday night at Vibiana in collaboration with Meta. Several attendees were featured on Gold House’s A100 list, which celebrates “100 Asians and Pacific Islanders (APIs) who had the most impact on culture and society over the past year.”
Yeoh, an A100 Legend, became the first-ever recipient of the SeeHer award during the event for “defying gender stereotypes throughout her career.”
Meanwhile, actors Gemma Chan and Kelly Marie Tran, musician H.E.R., K-pop girl group Blackpink, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Block CFO Amrita Ahuja, Instagram’s Eva Chen and Bain & Company’s Manny Maceda were inducted into Gold House’s Hall of Fame.
Artist Maia Ruth Lee, an inaugural Gold Art Prize Awardee, custom-designed the awards for the special event.
Stars who attended the red carpet affair include Jeezy, Ludi Lin, Sherry Cola, Liv Lo, Shelby Rabara, Ally Maki, Chloe Bennet, Midori Francis, Daniel Dae Kim, Ian Anthony Dale, Auli’i Cravalho, Lisa Ling, Prabal Gurung, Chloe Kim, Arden Cho, Ashley Park, Jeannie Mai, Liza Soberano, Benny Luo, Kelly Mi Li, Kane Lim, Destin Daniel Cretton, Ke Huy Quan, Jon M. Chu, Henry Golding and Harry Shum Jr.
Gold House also hosted an afterparty in collaboration with Hennessy X.O, offering guests a special menu from Panda Restaurant Group and custom boba drinks from Bopomofo Cafe.
